See Barcelona by bike

Why Dutch people like the bike so much.. it is fast, easy and you feel the place you’re biking through. It is the nicest way to travel, at least when it is not raining. If you go to Barcelona and you want to discover this splendid city in a different perspective; don’t take the metro or the tourist bus, grab your bike!

There are different possibilities to rent a bike in Barcelona,
There are, for example, guided bike tours, there are several bike rental organisations in Barcelona who offer these guided bike tours. For example; The classic tour is showing you the old town and modern Barcelona, The night tour is showing you Barcelona by night. The Gaudi tour shows you all the great impressive buildings build by Antoni Gaudi which are scattered all over Barcelona, there are also shopping and football tours and tours around Barcelona, for example to the Montserrat or Girona.

But, you like to go by yourself and draw up your own route? There are possibilities to rent a bike for a couple of days or hours. The costs are depending on the organisation but it will be around €80,- for a week and €25,- for the first day, extra days will cost about €20,- extra, and the bike will be delivered at your apartment. If you are in Barcelona, you will probably notice the red and white bicing stations. This system is not for tourists, you can only get a card if you live in Barcelona.
